Did you they can cancel church

It's been a really weird day. I keep forgetting it is Sunday because they cancelled church.
Because of this....



Yup because of 20 inches of snow in 24 hrs. Not only did they cancel church but they cancelled just about every flight in dc and Virginia. Which means we have been stuck in Virginia for an extra 2 days.

It's been a frustrating situation though because i really was ready to leave on Saturday.

Anyhow snow is very pretty and I have been able to clean the apt much better. And we have enjoyed time with some good friends of ours Brayden and Kaitlin Cluff. (more pictures to come when we get back)

Finals and Bucks Big Accomplishment

I have technically one written final.
its in my most dreaded class Philosophy - Free Will and Agency....ugh!

But before that I have to do a 15 minute presentation on my 4500 word paper I just turned in....you would think we'd had enough of the topic right? apparently NOT. oh well my paper rocks
its on Reagan and his lifetime screw up.... I like Reagan btw.

And before that I have my spanish interview...5 minutes, Q/A in espanol....fun

until then I guess i'll just prepare.

I cannot wait for the next 11 days to be gone then it is to California.

BTW

Buck got the lead role in the next play, "Rhinoceros", I don't know what it is about, Youtube....his character is Jean.
Don't ask because yes they turn into Rhinoceros' its an absurdist play

1. I wish my eyes were a vibrant color & not dull

2. I wish my hands didn't look like they belong to lizards


3. I wish my pillow on my bed never lost is fluff (like this one)


4. I wish I didn't have such a political viewpoint

5. I wish I never had to wear shoes and my feet stayed soft


6. I wish I could where bright reds and oranges and yellows
and not look awkward or washed out


7. I wish my husband didn't have softer skin than me

8. I wish dishes washed them selves


9. I wish I had perfect vision without correction

10. I wish I didn't have to brush my teeth and they would stay clean and shiny

Travel Study HW

As mentioned in my post "Second Proposal" I went to NYC on a travel study trip

with the University. It was a 1 credit hour trip and we went to 3 museums and 2 shows.
It was fun, I met new people and created new and stronger friendships....
We were given a moleskin journal in the beginning to write thoughts down in.
Easy 'nuf right?

WRONG!!!!!

When can you write in a museum? especially ones like the MOMA and the MET which are crowded with people and also when you only have like 5 hours there and you want to see everything.

When can you write during a performance? never because the lights are off and it is beyond disrespectful to have a light on to write, you will get kicked out end of story.

So when were we suppose to fill up this journal...it contained 64 pages! During free time?
Yeah right I am in NYC- home of China Town, streets with every genre of food on them, Brooklyn Pizza, historical sites, LOADS shopping. HA...HA...HA!

So on the drive up I wrote and on the drive back I wrote and in the past 2 days

I have written.


I have printed.


I have cut and glued.


I have remembered.


I have conquered!

So for homecoming Jon and Sarah Rabideau came to visit. It was so much fun!
