Blessing

I am grateful for my ability to cook. I am by no means and expert but I'm learning and my food is tasteful. Tonight we had baked potatoes and chili.

The potatoes were scrubbed very nicely on behalf of buck and then lightly brushed with olive oil and dusted with salt, which made them delicious.

The chili was a recipe from mcormick seasonings titled California style chili- contained kidney black and pinto beans onions and a bell pepper diced tomatoes chili powder cumin salt pepper oregano basil sugar and garlic powder and some dry red wine Crisped the veggies in evoo (extra virgin olive oil) for a couple of minutes then added the rest if the ingredients stirred heated to a boil and then simmered for 20 minutes.

It was yummy.

On a side not the airfreshner in the bedroom makes me sick.

I totally stinkin' FORGOT!

I love to write all blogs on center orientation, it reminds me of Poems.
[but that is not the reason for this post]

Right after break, before Buck and I were to take off for California,
Mother Nature decided to visit. It was one of those "a little bit goes along way visit"
IT SNOWED A STINKIN' 20 sumthin' inches.

R U 4 REAL?
[my dance teach would call that writing in text lingo]

Kaitlyn and I playing in the snow forgetting about our worries....of not going home

It was like a stinking blizzard!

I asked Kaitlyn if her and Brayden (husband) wanted to do a breakfast for dinner feast after the last day of finals to celebrate....we did and it was delicious & then the snow came and it came HARD!

Here is the truck after like I think 2 hrs.....there is 6 inches of snow on it 6" / 2hr = 3" per hr

WE had fun, WE got really cold, I took pictures. Here is one for Kaitlyn I told her I'd post for her to steal.

Awww.....

This is a quick snap from the stairwell the morning after.

until next time.

New years eve

We, buck, Cindie, grandma and grandpa giannotti and I, saw an early morning showing of Sherlock holmes which was awesome!

Afterward cindie buck and I went to the mall, initially just to go to Dave and busters but ended up walking around the mall in search of the boots I have been looking for a while. After like 8 stores we ended up at off Broadway shoes and found two pairs of shoes for $28 they were on sale, and the yellow boots were not even close to the type I was looking for but I absolutely love them!

After the great sale on shoes we found our way back to Dave and Busters ate lunch and enjoyed hours of amazing playtime which resulted in thousands of tickets! One of the machines was glitched and fed out the entire roll of tickets for nothing that's like 5000 tickets and it happened twice then buck felt bad and told one of the workers.

For new years eve we went to the Case's and played nert which is a wicked fun card game.

Then we chit chatted wives and husbands separately and then the guys watched videos off of YouTube.
(this picture was not posed)

While Traci, Heather and I watched the big bang theory.

That's all!

Christmas with my family

On the 26 of December my family drove up to the cabazon outlet stores, they are huge, and stayed until Monday night. Which gave buck and I the opportunity to hang out with them for a day. It started out meeting up with them at their hotel and then we went to cabazon. I got to meet my families newest member, Erik, he is one of their foreign exchange students from china he is really nice, he got me a scarf.

My dad decided to open the gifts in the parking lot. We did the family picked gifts, I had mom and buck had tim's girlfriend Jen.
I put together two sets of wall frames full of pictures of the family and a picture of each kid. I think she really enjoyed that.

then we opened all the gifts from my family, and by we I mean me.

Buck got: two shirts, a scarf, twelvth season of simpsons, gift card to jamba juice and an Amex gift card also he got a beanie
Whitni got: two shirts, some jewelry, an embroidered turtle by my grandma mason, season 5 of house (I was stoked), gifts cards to Jamba juice and the amex card and two scarfs a beanie and some gloves
For our anniversary: a set of Egyptian cotton sheets and a book of my families geneology that my grandfather put together and a set of four cute sundae dishes (from my sister krysta)

After that we took a family picture.
(I cropped it, we don't have legs....)

Then we went to rubys diner for lunch which was yummy and I had a nice talk with my mom.

Then the rest of the day we walked around the stores and looked for a pair of half boots that we couldn't find a pair to fit my feet.

All in all it was a very good day.

Anniversary the day after

We celebrated our two year anniversary on Dec 26 and went out to eat at Chevy's and went to Dave and busters and had lots of fun. Being that it is the DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS and there are always HUGE sales, it was crowded basically everywhere we went.

But the real treat happened on Dec 27 we went to the Clippers vs. Celtics game in LA and we were 19 rows from the court.

The drive down was nice but once we got with in 5 miles of the staples center, where the game was played, it got busy and traffic picked up.

We got their early since traffic on the way down wasn't as bad as we thought it would be so we had to wait 45 minutes before we could go in.

Once we got in we found our seats and grabbed some grub. Before the music started I could actually hear the players chatting and goofing around on the court, that's how close we were and we were right next to the Celtics entrance which was awesome, If I had a pen I would have tried to get some signatures but no big deal.

This is 51.06 minutes before game time....(I'm not psychotic it says it in the picture)

Next to us was another couple that was Celtics fans it was cool and then behind us were huge Lakers fans, who of course HATE the Celtics and were dogging on them the whole night so they were funny.

Here is a picture of Garnett doing his pregame pump up....AKA bang head on pole...

Its not a clear picture sorry.

Buck and I sported our celtics jerseys, 5 (Kevin Garnett) for buck and 9 (Rajon Rondo) for me, and cheered for them!

(why buck makes this face I DO NOT KNOW)

Of course buck is a clippers fan so it kind of is a win win situation for him.

These pictures are right before the game during warm up and team huddle

During half time they had the dunk team(I guess) and they did a lot of crazy fun dunks.

Unfortunately the Celtics lost on a buzzer beater but all in all it was fun!
